Dorothy M. Boutin, 89, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Marshview Senior Living under the care of Hospice Savannah.

A native of Newport, VT she had lived in Savannah since 1959. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church for the past 58 years and prior to her retirement served as the church secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Vincent Boutin, and a daughter, Melanie Kirby.

Surviving are her children, Mary Lou Collins, Michael Boutin (Alanna), Monica Brook (Jim), and Martha White (Steve); five granddaughters, Amy Collins Gottfried, Annie Collins Roberts, Leah Brook, Leeann Kirby, and Elizabeth White; 8 grandsons, Seth Boutin, Micah Boutin, Logan Brook, John Eric Kirby, Noah Kirby, Vincent White, Kevin White, and Matthew White; and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests remembrances to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
